Top 10 Gospel Artists to watch in 2019

Kenyan Gospel artists are on the rise and nothing seems to be stopping them. Their quality of music is improving and new styles are rocking the airwaves.

This list below contains top 10 Gospel artists in Kenya causing ripples with their masterpieces.

1. Zack Art

Zack is one of the fastest rising Gospel Artist in Kenya having been in the industry for barely 6 months. He is working under Hewane Record Label, one the fastest growing Record Labels in Kenya. Zack Art has been branded the ‘Diamond Platinumz of the Gospel industry’ for his creamy vocals and excellent bongo vibes. The young artist is now competing with top gospel artists in Kenya and East Africa. 

He is well known for his hits Mzima Mzima, Kuche and lately Yunami, which are receiving massive airplay. 

2. Abbey Mickey

Abbey Mickey is a super-talented female artist with a very sweet voice. She is new in the game and seems to be receiving massive attention in the Gospel Industry. The media and the public have received her current release, Nyota Yangu, very well. She has a melodious voice and excellent song writing skills making her music stand out of the rest. She is a talent to watch out for in 2019.

3. Redemption

He has been in the industry for a while and has maintained his relevance all throughout. 

Redemption made hits such as crossing overwhich he featured top gospel artist Guardian Angel. He then came up with other songs like kule, yenze, pendapenda, one by one, your love, just to mention a few.  

He is now rocking the airwaves with his latest song Onekanathat is doing so well. He is definitely going to be a big name in 2019.

4. Hit Maker Dave

He is also one of the fast up and rising artist. He has nice delivery on tracks with his high perfect-pitched voice. 

His current release Mtafute talks about seeking God tirelessly and trusting  in him to fight all your battles. Close sources confirm that the singer is making arrangements to release his next song. 

5. Glad Muchai

Glad Muchai is also new in the game and seems to be doing so well lately. She is signed under Hewane Record Label, a very fast rising Record Label. Glad is currently riding high with her new release Uonwe. The song is excellently produced by Nana Watchez (#NanaBreakItDown) of Hewane Records, and is doing very well in the industry.

6. Keam Kym

Keam is one of the most electrifying artists of our time. His most notable single so far was Hayawani Coveroriginally performed by the popular Kenyan Musician Nyansinki. Keam Kym has released groundbreaking songs such as Sawasawaand Usiniache

Keam has different and intresting music ability sides and therefore no doubt that he will take Gospel music in Kenya to another level.

7. Eve Bahati 

Eve’s Swahili prowess and angelic vocals have placed her high in the Gospel Industry. Eve Bahati came to the limelight 2 years ago after releasing Umenifaa, which did very well. She later released sitasahau, which also did quite well. 

The vocal queen is set to release a new one titled Nakupenda, which drop before close of 2018. Eve Bahati is a talent to watch in the years to come.

8. Banita

Banita is a new face in the industry and one of the multi talented artists in Kenya 

His first release was Usiniache, which did so well and stepped him to the limelight. He went ahead and released another single dubbed Nitangoja, which is also doing so well.

He is currently rocking the airwaves with a new song titled Korakorawhich he features Pyrex, a gospel artist from Kenya. Banita is definitely to watch in 2019.

9. Flex Muziki

He is barely months into the Gospel music industry. Flex is traced back to the music group Camp Davidbefore they separated for solo projects after accomplishing the aim of the group. 

Flex has remained relevant in music industry and has released various singles, among them being Torokawhich is doing quite well. 

He is versatile and flexible to do different music styles. Flex music is an artist to watch in 2019.

10. Sphira

Winding up my list is the Baraka ZakeHitmaker, Sphira.  She is an up and rising artist and released her first single Nilinde followedby Baraka Zake, which received amazing airplay and public embrace. 

Sphira is expected to drop a new single in the February of 2019. She has great potential to become the top Gospel Artist in Kenya come 2019.
