Who is Princess Leo?

Princess Leo is a young lady, charming and full of life. I am from Kitale 

Who was Princess Leo before EMB happened?

I was a house cleaner even before I joined EMB, I used to wash clothes for people at Eastleigh Area for as little as 200/=. I tried joining college but later failed to finish because of lack of school fees.

Has someone ever told you that you will never make it? If yes what was worst of the experiences?

We all have those people who give us negative comments in our lives, I have had such people and I almost believed in them because I saw the way I struggled and really believed I will never make it. At a point I was thrown out of a performance list simply because the MC didn't like my song. It was heartbreaking.

How did princess Leo end up in EMB?

I joined EMB as a result of becoming the top in the auditions we had. Over 500 ladies did send their applications but I managed to be the top one. I simply say I didn't come to compete but to locate my favor.

Do you have siblings? Tell us about your family.

I am the 2nd born in a family of 5.The only daughter. I was forced to relocate to Nairobi after seeing how my parents are struggling with all of us. I decided to give them space hence hustling for myself.

Where do you see yourself in the next 3 yrs

I want to be one of the top gospel ministers in Africa. I believe what God promised me is starting to manifest itself bit by bit.

What was your worst experience in life? What was your best experience?

My worst experience is when I received a call that my dad had collapsed while working. All this is because he tried to look for my college school fees. It really broke my heart and that's what led me leave college and starting doing house chores for people. My best experience is when I was surprised by the EMB team and given the contract as the new-signed artiste. It was a breathtaking moment.

Do you regret getting signed by EMB?

I don't regret being signed by EMB because I can see the impact they have created in me and my music as a whole.

Name 10 upcoming Gospel Artists you admire in Kenya.

I will not mention names but i listen alit to upcoming artistes here in Kenya and some are doing really great. What i can advise them is to never give up but to work hard and wait upon Gods time. If He did to me He will surely do the same to them.

Have u ever given to the poor? If yes what was the most touching circumstance?

I usually give to the poor and every time I do that I do it with all my heart. Every moment is a special moment for me. Love your neighbor as you love yourself.
